Hormonal changes and imbalance can be due to pregnancy, childbirth or onset of menapause, scalp infection, alopecia areata (body’s immune system attacks hair follicles), thyroid problem etc.


Hair loss might be due to drugs used for cancer, heart problem, depression, birth control, high blood pressure etc.

How PRP Works

PRP treatment for hair loss is administered via injections to the scalp. Our trained professionals at Lucy Peters with begin the procedure with the collection of the patient’s blood retracted from their arm. The blood is amalgamated and is then placed in a centrifuge for fifteen minutes to separate the platelet-rich plasma from other components the blood harbors. The scalp is prepped with a solution to help reduce bacteria that can potentially cause infection. Platelet-rich plasma is blood that has been enriched with a high concentration of platelets. PRP is created by separating platelets from a blood sample, increasing their concentration, and mixing them back into the extracted plasma, making it 5 to 10 times richer in platelets. This plasma is injected into a wound or surgical site to accelerate tissue healing and the formation of new cellular growth.

Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) Hair Transplant

What is (FUE)?

Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) is a method of extracting, or “harvesting,” donor hair in a (follicular unit) hair transplant procedure.

In FUE hair transplant surgery, an instrument is used to make a small, circular incision in the skin around a follicular unit, separating it from the surrounding tissue.
